- I believe that in order for our children to achieve high levels of academic success in the 21st century, “being average is unacceptable and failure is not an option”. I believe that every child is capable of learning. After serving 20 years in the Army, where my soldiers came first. I would like to share that with parents and students. My students and their education will always come first. Hinesville is my home now and the job of an educator is my way of giving back to the community. The thought that something I could say or do to encourage a child to “be all that he or she can be” intellectually, is a reward within itself. This is what it means to me to be a teacher. It is a privilege and honor to serve the students, parents, and community of Hinesville, Georgia.
